ROYAL CARIBBEAN INTERNATIONAL EXPANDS "SHORT CRUISE" ITINERARIES FOR THE 2001/2002 CARIBBEAN SEASON
 
MIAMI, FL  June 27, 2000  Royal Caribbean International will expand "short cruise" product offerings in the Caribbean next year with new itinerary patterns. For the first time, Nordic Empress and Monarch of the Seas will sail a series of alternating four- and five-night Western and Southern Caribbean itineraries roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale and San Juan, respectively. Majesty of the Seas and Sovereign of Seas will continue to sail their popular three- and four-night Bahamas short cruises from Miami and Port Canaveral, respectively
 
Nordic Empress will offer four- and five-night Southern Caribbean cruises roundtrip from San Juan. Four-night sailings depart on alternating Thursdays from November 8, 2001 to April 11, 2002 with ports of call at St. Croix, U.S.V.I; Phillipsburg, St. Maarten and St.Thomas, U.S.V.I. Two five-night itineraries will be offered. Five-night cruises departing on alternate Mondays from October 29, 2001 to April 15, 2002, will call at Basseterre, St. Kitts; Castries, St. Lucia and Bridgetown, Barbados. Five-night cruises departing on alternate Saturdays from November 3, 2001 to April 20, 2002, with ports of call at Tortola/Virgin Gorda, B.V.I; Phillipsburg, St. Maarten and St. John's Antigua.  
Monarch of the Seas will offer four- and five-night Western Caribbean sailings roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale. Four-night cruises depart on alternating Thursdays from October 11, 2001 to March 28, 2002, with ports of call at Key West, Florida and Cozumel, Mexico. Two five-night itineraries will be offered. Five-night cruises departing on alternating Saturdays from October 6, 2001 to March 23, 2002, will call at Cozumel, Mexico and Georgetown, Grand Cayman. Five-night cruises depart on alternating Mondays from October 15, 2001 to April 1, 2002 will call at Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico and Key West, Florida.  
Majesty of the Seas will offer three- and four night Bahamas cruises roundtrip from Miami with ports of call at Key West, Nassau, Bahamas and Cococay. Sailings depart every Monday and Friday from January 5, 2001 to March 29, 2002.  
Sovereign of the Seas will offer three- and four night Bahamas cruises roundtrip from Port Canaveral with ports of call at Nassau, Bahamas and Cococay. Sailings depart every Thursday and Sunday from January 4, 2001 to March 28, 2002.
